Linum Consult’s client is a major international construction consultancy. They are currently seeking a Manager to oversee their Project Controls department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Having overall responsibility for managing and monitoring budgets, costs, planning/scheduling, and management of change
- Assigning project control staff appropriate roles and responsibilities, based on their capabilities
- Implement the relevant Stage Gate Process on all new and existing projects
- Ensure that all projects provide input to monthly dashboards consistent with project guidelines
- Prepare and maintain portfolio cost reports, showing budget, forecasts, and actual costs
- Implement an Enterprise Documents Management System (EDMS)
- Define schedule requirements for contracts
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree qualification in Engineering
- At least 20 years’ experience in planning and scheduling, working in a managerial role on large scale projects
- Excellent technical knowledge of directing cost engineering, cost estimating, control and analysis, planning and scheduling, schedule development, control and analysis
- Demonstrable history of setting up and establishing criteria for project control activities
- Good holistic understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up processes
- Advanced knowledge of scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and EPPM platforms
- Previous experience of working internationally, preferably in the Middle East
