Linum Consult’s client is currently in the process of expanding and is seeking a Technology Senior Expert who specialises in renewable energy assets management, to be based in their office in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading the integration and operational management of advanced technologies across renewable energy assets, enhancing efficiency, ensuring technical compliance, and boosting profitability
- Developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance the efficiency and output of renewable energy installations, utilising cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices
- Supervising and coordinating regular maintenance schedules for all renewable assets, ensuring they adhere to industry standards and practices to prevent breakdowns and extend asset lifespan
- Ensuring all operations of renewable assets comply with relevant local and international environmental and energy regulations
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry partners
- Tracking and evaluating the performance of renewable assets using KPIs, preparing detailed reports on their operational status and financial health
PROFILE
- Degree qualification in Finance, Engineering, Sustainable Energy, or similar. Ideally have an additional MBA qualification
- At least 10 years’ experience in a similar role, with the last 4 years in a leadership/management role
- Good understanding of the renewable energy industry, with knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, and key players
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with any Arabic language skills an advantage
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with key stakeholders, senior executives, management teams, and external partners
- Previous experience of working in Qatar and/or other Gulf countries
