Linum Consult’s client is an international specialist main contractor. They are involved on a significant construction project and are looking to hire a bilingual Commissioning Manager specialising in Mechanical equipment to join their team in Milan, Italy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing all mechanical commissioning execution plans
- Checking all standard commissioning procedures for accuracy and completeness
- Leading the preparation, maintenance, and progress monitoring of the commissioning schedule
- Ensuring that the target dates for construction completion are in line with the commissioning schedule
- Clarifying and maintaining interfaces between different systems/disciplines during commissioning
- Enforcing and ensuring the company’s HSE policy during commissioning
- Providing technical and field support to mechanical commissioning staff
PROFILE
- Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years’ experience in on-site mechanical commissioning, working on large-scale industrial building projects, such as data centres, hospitals, or manufacturing facilities
- IT literate, with a demonstrable history of working with MS Office software
- Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English
