Linum Consult’s client is an international design and build main contractor, specialising in large commercial and industrial buildings. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Lisbon.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing the entire business development process; using and updating the CRM system
  • Seeking new business opportunities
  • Prospecting companies looking to implement activities on a national level, in line with the strategy defined by the company’s Business Development department
  • Maintaining and developing your network of contacts and information likely to generate new business opportunities for the company
  • Participating in networking events
  • Establishing specific Customer Account Plans (developing and defining a sales strategy and action plan)
  • Determining the commercial environment of offers to establish the appropriate sales strategy to obtain maximum added value
  • Executing account plans and updating the sales strategy and action plan to identify and qualify projects; make binding commercial offers for the company’s technical resources; signing design & build contracts with performance commitments

PROFILE

  • Degree qualified in Business Development, Engineering, Architecture, or similar
  • At least 3 years of experience in selling turnkey construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of urbanisation, construction legislation, and financial aspects of construction projects
  • Fluency in spoken and written English or French would be advantageous
  • The right to live and work in the EU
