Linum Consult’s client is an international design and build main contractor, specialising in large commercial and industrial buildings. They are looking to hire a Construction Manager with experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works to join their team in the Rhône-Alpes region, for a data centre construction project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing an MEP site holistically in compliance with safety and quality standards
- Maintaining effective communication with clients, project management, engineers, site staff, and other stakeholders
- Preparing, leading, or attending site meetings and proactively ensuring the dissemination of information
- Planning, organising, and supervising MEP construction projects using a Lean management methodology
- Identifying the stages of the project and establishing a detailed schedule of MEP work
- Ensuring compliance with deadlines and budgets
PROFILE
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role on a data centre construction project
- Degree qualification in Construction Management or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Excellent technical knowledge of planning and management of construction sites, using MS Project, Primavera and BIM tools
- Electrical authorisations H0/B0/BR/BC
- Authorised to work at height, with training and history of using rolling scaffolding
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English
